The gap

Getting told what's wrong isn't the hard part. Getting it fixed, week after week, is.

SEO tools

Hand you more to interpret.

A dashboard of 340 issues sorted by severity. Everything is technically true and none of it tells you what to do on Tuesday morning. The work still lands on you.

Agencies

Do the work, somewhere.

Things do get done, and a report arrives at month end. What changed, when, and why is usually a conversation rather than a record you can check yourself.

Serse

Does the work in the open.

The change is prepared for you, the reasoning is attached, you approve it, and the ledger keeps the record. Automation you can audit — and stop — at any point.

Plenty of teams run all three. Serse is built for the ones who want the execution and the paper trail in the same place.

The loop

Works like a good SEO. Doesn't stop when the week does.

01

It starts by learning what you actually sell.

Serse reads your Search Console history, your analytics, and your pages, then asks you the few things it cannot infer. Every recommendation after this point is grounded in that context.

Business context

A clear starting point

  • Your business profileCustomers, locations and priorities

What Serse understands

Northgate provides facilities management for commercial properties in Leeds.

Customers
Property and office managers
Priority
More enquiries for ongoing contracts

02

Then it separates the work worth doing from the noise.

Hundreds of possible issues get ranked by what they are plausibly worth to you — not by a generic severity score. Pages with no commercial intent get set aside, and Serse says so.

Opportunities

What to work on next

Illustrative example
Three example opportunities in priority order
PageIssuePriority
/pricingThe main search term is buried in the page title.High
/servicesThe page description does not explain the service.Medium
/aboutAn internal link points to an old service URL.Low

Ranked by relevance, evidence and effort. Review the reasoning before choosing a fix.

03

It brings you the finished change, not a to-do item.

The exact edit, the evidence behind it, the risk, and how to undo it. Nothing is a black box — you can see why Serse believes this is the right change before you touch anything.

Puts the service and “pricing” first, so readers can see what the page offers.

Try the review step. This is a demonstration.

04

You decide how much runs without you.

Approve each change, or hand over the low-risk categories and keep approval for the rest. Autopilot requires three human-approved, applied and live-verified changes in the same operation family, explicit opt-in, valid recovery and budget, and no unresolved failures.

Your rules

Choose what needs your review

Interactive example
When can a change run automatically?

Automatic work requires explicit opt-in, an eligible change type, valid recovery, available budget and successful checks. If any requirement is missing, it waits for review.

Try these example settings. Your site’s settings are managed inside Serse.

Questions

The things people ask before they connect a site.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. The trial lasts 14 days and is subject to plan and usage limits. A paid subscription starts only when you explicitly complete checkout. A trial without payment details does not convert automatically.

Do I need technical SEO knowledge to use Serse?

Serse explains findings and prepares supported changes for review. Inspect the evidence and proposed effect before approval. Unsupported changes include manual next steps; a connection alone does not make every operation available.

What happens to my data after the trial?

New paid work, generation and automation stop when the trial expires. You keep viewing, export, manual drafting, account management and safe recovery access. Your sites, content and history are retained until you request deletion.

Can I control what the agents do?

Yes. Review and approval come first. Bounded autopilot requires at least three human-approved, successfully applied and live-verified changes in the same site and operation family, owner or admin opt-in, valid recovery and budget, and no unresolved failures. The 30-day rollback hold also applies. New article publication, major rewrites, GBP changes and outreach still require explicit approval.

Can I undo a published change?

Supported operations offer reviewed recovery while their snapshots remain available and unexpired. Check the covered fields, current destination and expiry in the work record. Changes to those fields, missing access or an unresolved provider result can block recovery. Some operations require manual recovery in the provider or a new reviewed change; not every action has an undo.

Can I use Serse alongside an agency?

Yes. Businesses, growth teams and agencies can organize research, briefs, content, technical reviews and reports by site. Portfolio views and workspace roles support work across client sites. Specialist strategy and creative work can remain part of your process.

Which websites and CMS platforms does Serse support?

Connect your website for research and choose a supported publishing destination in Settings. Native workflows cover WordPress, GitHub, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, HubSpot, Sanity and Contentful. Operations depend on provider access, selected resources and field mappings. Local project access requires a runtime that can reach that filesystem. Drafts remain exportable when no publishing destination is connected.

How does Serse connect research to results?

A finding leads to inspectable evidence, a brief or proposed change, human review and a recorded operation. Native publication is separate from checking the customer website. Performance measurement follows a confirmed publication and may remain unavailable or inconclusive.

What should I connect first?

Add your website and business context, then inspect the setup checklist for that site. Search Console and analytics add performance evidence; a publishing connection enables its supported operations. Setup and collection time depend on provider permissions, site size and available data.

Let it start finding the work.

Connect your site, check source freshness and inspect the first supported opportunity.
